Leidos has an immediate opening for an Associate Physical Security Coordinator in Reston - VA. This is a junior position that serves as a member of the Workplace Security team supporting the access control and front-line security posture of Leidos' Global Headquarters facility located in Reston - VA. Serving in a fast paced, customer facing, and high visibility environment, the incumbent provides support to the Badge Office Team and several other access control functions in protection of corporate assets spanning the U.S. Primary duties include access control and visitor management administration and troubleshooting repairs of automated access management and intrusion detection/monitoring systems. Must be a motivated, self-starter with a team mentality and possess strong customer service, attention to detail, and technical troubleshooting skills.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Badge office administration includes:
    • Producing and issuing corporate identification/access cards and provisioning/de-provisioning accesses as appropriate.
    • Handling special badging projects, reports, and audits.
    • Programming, issuing, and tracking parking transponders.
    • Supporting programming and testing of hardware configurations for access control.
  • Visitor management administration includes:
    • Supporting the visitor management system and serving as a point of contact for the Global Headquarters as well as the Leidos enterprise.
    • Provisioning/de-provisioning accesses as appropriate.
    • Producing reports, troubleshooting issues, performing updates, and supporting system growth.
  • Other duties include:
    • Performing physical security validation checks for GHQ and Annex facilities.
    • Utilizing ServiceNow to execute service tickets across multiple systems.
    • Ensuring employees are granted appropriate building access, to include issuing temporary and VIP badges.
    • Performing audits of access lists.
    • Supporting and maintaining a multi-site CCTV system.
    • Obtaining quotes from vendors for services and inventories.
    • Ensuring compliance with access control procedures while providing a welcoming atmosphere for Leidos guests.
Basic Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED with 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Ability to manage tasks with minimal supervision
  • Effective team player
  • Technical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb a step ladder
  • Ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret clearance
  • Willingness to occasionally work after hours or weekends
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Active top secret security clearance
  • Badge Office administration experience
  • Familiarity with access control systems and hardware
  • Familiarity with visitor management systems
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow ticketing systems

Pay Range:
Pay Range $39,000.00 - $70,500.00
