ABOUT THE CHURCH

First Mt. Juliet is a thriving community of believers that prioritizes deep connection through intentional discipleship and spiritual growth. From the moment someone walks through the doors, they are invited into a journey of faith that is personal, relational, and transformative. Through life group Bible studies, and mentoring relationships, the church creates spaces for individuals and families to grow in their knowledge of God's Word and to be shaped into Christlike disciples. Connection isn’t just a value—it’s a lived-out reality as members find belonging and purpose in a body committed to walking through life and faith together.

Assimilation, outreach, and evangelism are key components of the church's mission to “Love God, Love People, and Go.” First Mt. Juliet seeks to ensure every guest and new believer finds a clear path into the life of the church through welcoming environments and intentional follow-up. Beyond the church walls, outreach initiatives and local partnerships demonstrate the love of Christ in tangible ways, while evangelism efforts equip and encourage believers to share the gospel with boldness and compassion. Whether engaging with neighbors in Mt. Juliet or participating in global missions, First Mt. Juliet is committed to connecting people to Jesus and one another through a gospel-centered, mission-driven culture.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

The Connections Pastor at First Mt. Juliet plays a pivotal role in helping people find belonging, purpose, and growth in Christ through the church. Tasked with reaching the unchurched and equipping believers, this pastor leads the church’s efforts in assimilation, discipleship, outreach, and evangelism. By developing clear pathways for guests to become engaged members, overseeing Life Groups, and cultivating a culture of hospitality and spiritual formation, the Connections Pastor ensures every person has an opportunity to grow in faith and serve with their God- given gifts. Through strategic leadership, training, and alignment with the church’s mission, this role is instrumental in building a gospel-centered community that is both spiritually deep and missionally active.
