ABJ Drone Academy is a leading provider of professional UAS (Unmanned Aerial Systems) pilot training. Our industry-ready courses cut across the board— thermal imaging, surveying & 3D modeling, including the Global Wind Organization (GWO) standards, to photography, videography and safety certifications.
We are expanding and are looking for passionate and experienced partners to help us develop content and courses. If you've got a knack for teaching and tech like thermography and GIS, we want to hear from you.
**What You’ll Do**
**Curriculum Design & Development**
* Design beginner to advanced drone training modules.
* Create engaging, LMS-friendly course materials: scripts, video lessons, slide decks, tutorials, and assessments.
* Translate complex tech into practical, hands-on lessons.
* Research and incorporate current drone technologies, use cases, and industry trends.
* Collaborate with editors, designers, and subject matter experts.
**Instruction & Delivery**
* Deliver live online or in-person training sessions as needed.
* Support learners via Q&A sessions, feedback platforms, or email.
* Evaluate and optimize course content based on learner feedback and outcomes.
**What We’re Looking For**
**Technical Expertise**
* Certified drone pilot with UAS certifications (thermography, NDT Techniques, aerial mapping, etc.)
* Hands-on experience with multirotors, fixed-wing, or specialized drones.
* Knowledge of UAS safety, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
**Curriculum Development Experience**
* Proven experience designing and delivering drone training or workshops.
* Understanding of adult learning principles, LMS platforms, and course structuring.
* Skilled at developing engaging content: presentations, manuals, assessments.
**Bonus**
* Familiarity with tools like DroneDeploy, Pix4D, DJI Terra, QGIS, or Litchi.
**Must-Have:**
2+ years in drone operations, training, or course development
