We're Hiring: Healthcare Practice Manager – Primary Care Clinic

We’re seeking a motivated and skilled Healthcare Practice Manager to lead the daily operations of our primary care clinic. As a key leader, you’ll drive operational excellence, support staff development, and ensure an outstanding patient experience. You’ll play a critical role in creating a positive, efficient, and welcoming environment for both patients and team members.

What You’ll Be Doing

Team Leadership & Development

  • Recruit, train, and retain top clinical and administrative staff.

  • Conduct performance reviews and implement development plans.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and excellence.

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee daily clinic operations to ensure efficient workflows and timely patient care.

  • Manage staff schedules and attendance to maintain optimal coverage.

  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, standards, and policies.

Patient Experience

  • Address patient concerns with professionalism, empathy, and urgency.

  • Advocate for patients to ensure their journey reflects the highest quality of care.

Facility & Resource Management

  • Maintain inventory levels and ensure proper functioning of medical equipment.

  • Oversee clinic environment, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and readiness.

Financial Oversight

  • Manage clinic financial operations including intake, banking, and cost control.

  • Analyze performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Drive accountability for achieving financial and operational goals.

Growth & Business Development

  • Support clinic growth through capacity planning and schedule optimization.

  • Build and maintain vendor and partner relationships to strengthen operations.

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure adherence to all healthcare laws, regulations, and safety protocols.

  • Promote a safe environment for patients and staff.

Requirements

Qualifications

Education & Credentials

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, Nursing, or related field (Master’s preferred).

  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and safety protocols.

Experience

  • 3–5+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare, clinical operations, or medical practice management.

  • Proven success in staff recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and retention.

  • Experience overseeing daily operations, patient flow, and scheduling.

  • Strong financial management background (budgeting, cost control, revenue oversight).

  • Demonstrated track record in driving operational improvements and supporting growth initiatives.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong leadership and team-building abilities.

  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with staff, patients, and partners.

  • Proficiency in healthcare software systems (Athena preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Knowledge of facility management, resource allocation, and vendor relations.
