Office of Public Engagement, Equity, and Tribal Affairs has an opening for a Senior Environmental Scientist (Specialist), Public Engagement & Environmental Justice Specialist. The position is located at 1001 I Street, 19th Floor, Sacramento CA with convenient access to public transportation.

The Senior Environmental Scientist (Specialist) serves as a subject matter expert and specialist in the Public Engagement and Environmental Justice unit within the Office of Public Engagement, Equity, and Tribal Affairs. The role involves leading independent projects, serving as a project manager, and working with an interdisciplinary team, ensuring the integration of public engagement, environmental justice, and equity impact analysis into regulatory and policy frameworks.
