Job Description

Staff Management Group is seeking a Forklift Operator for our client in Monroe, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.

Schedule:

• 1st Shift: 8AM - 4:30PM
• 2nd Shift: 4:30PM - 12AM
• Monday - Friday
• Plus overtime

Pay Rate:

• $16 - $19 / hour 

Job Summary:

We’re seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team and handle the safe, accurate loading and unloading of trucks, maintain inventory integrity, and operate various types of forklifts—including cherry picker, order picker, and reach truck.

Job Responsibilities:

• Timely and accurate loading and unloading of route delivery trucks per ticket requirements. 
• Timely and accurate loading and unloading of tractor-trailer trucks.
• Responsible general housekeeping to ensure our warehouse standards are met in a safe and professional manner. This may include sweeping, consolidation of product, facility maintenance, organizing product and other tasks as necessary.
• Maintain the integrity of products through proper handling and storage.
• Maintain accurate inventories.
• Ensure safe operation of a forklift.
• Movement of delivery trucks including truck refueling which requires working outdoors.
• Carryout simple maintenance on the forklift, like recharging its batte1Y and refueling.
• Identify and report mechanical and electrical faults to the supervisor or to the right technicians. 
• Pack goods in the warehouse by hand when situation demands.
• Perform quality checks on inbound goods. 

Job Requirements:

• MUST be bilingual (English AND Spanish)
• MUST know how to drive the cherry picker, order picker, and reach truck
• MINIMUM 1 year of experience
• MUST be available for overtime
